[USPRwire, Thu Nov 12 2009] John Wood, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (www.rrar.com), has announced that on Friday, Nov. 6, Triangle real estate professionals will host the area’s first Real Estate Bar Camp (ReBarCamp RDU – www.rebarcamprdu.com) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®, located at 111 Realtor Way in Cary. The event will provide a platform for all real estate professionals to share ideas, learn and collaborate with thought leaders in real estate and social media. The event is open to anyone in the real estate industry, costs $12 to attend and includes a catered lunch.

The schedule for the day is decided on by attendees the morning of the event, allowing ReBarCamp RDU to be relevant and provide the most useful information. Thought leaders from both the real estate and technology industries will be on hand to lead discussions on the topics chosen. This year’s event may include social media demos, discussions on how to use Twitter to build a personal brand, break-out sessions on using Facebook to create now-buyer leads and other real estate and technology topics.
