[USPRwire, Fri Dec 04 2009] Less than two weeks after rocking the Beauty Bar in San Diego, CA last week, Americana artist, Billy Anne Crews will perform at the National Underground in New York, on Saturday, December 5, 2009, at 11:45 P.M.

The dynamic performing artist is set to share the stage with The Jibbs and deliver a medley of her hit singles at the popular night club. Crews is known for her sultry, powerful voice and energetic and memorable stage performances. The singer/songwriter has penned dozens of songs including Hard Life to Live, and Takin' My Promises.

While most kids her age were outside playing, Billy Anne was in her room listening to records and methodically studying the lyrics. Decades of piano lessons and one music degree later, Crews discovered that her real passion involved plugging in her guitar and writing songs.

Often referred to as, 'Southern Grunge Chick', Billy plays a unique style of music by encapsulating the Americana and Country-Alternative genres. She makes her home in San Diego, CA and continues to play in American and English clubs.
